Band Ring
How many times can a plain gold band ring be resized up?
I have already had mine resized up 2 sizes (uk). My friend can no longer wear his wedding ring because he had had it resized 3 times and cannot get it upsized any more?

It is important to have the ring resized by a good jeweler who will not just stretch the band – that’s what makes it thinner.
A good jeweler will add gold and solder it to increase it thus not letting the band become thinner.
Remember, this is not a $5 job as there is gold being added to your ring.
